EASY 5-INGREDIENT HOMEMADE
HOT CHOCOLATE MIX
Temperatures Fall and so do the Leaves. The kids go off to school after a busy summer of having fun in the sun, and life’s starting to get back to a normal routine again. Food preferences change and the warm southern comfort foods start to hit the crock pot, like chilis, stews and soups. In our home, the traditional Carnation Hot Chocolate is always sitting out on the counter, and the kids help themselves basically! Needless to say, they don’t go light! and the large tub is typically gone within a week or two 🙁 Each year I have personally always tried to be BETTER than the year before. I am always trying to develop new ways to save money, yet still try to give my kids a life that seems prosperous with happiness.
As a family of 5, we know the struggle in trying to keep that food pantry full!!
Considering the rising costs due to inflation, it hurts the bank account when these items are having to be consistently stocked up. Although the cost of groceries these days is super unrealistic and unfair, there are still loop holes you can use to bring you out ahead!
Take for instance this 5 ingredient hot chocolate powder mix! After you have purchased the ingredients, combined them all and tucked your chocolatey mix into a pantry container, you will observe and be OVER THE MOON, when you see how much product you have vs the cost. Sometimes its worth a little research to make a change like this! You’ll thank me later!
