Families are moving in together nowadays, and there really isn’t a lot of space to find privacy! She Sheds/ Lady-Cave, She Shack, whatever YOU want to call it, is an excellent alternative to finding that little therapeutic space to personalize and call yours! 

There are endless possibilities  once you choose your outdoor shed and have a shell of a palace, ready to engage! 

Here’s a quick little step by step guide to get you started with your new personalized space! 

STEP 1: BUILD A VISION BOARD: 

Take some time to jot down your interests, your talents, your favorite colors, and absolutely everything you can think of that makes you, YOU! This space is going to reflect you, and welcome you, each time you step foot into it. Find decor inspiration on websites like Pinterest, especially my boards 😉 where you can find color theme decor and assorted theme ideas to get that imagination flowing!

Choose a color theme that reflects positivity and openness. Using a light colored palette will open this small space up and give the illusion that its bigger than it appears. 

STEP 2: MAKE IT DURABLE FOR ALL YEAR:

I’d recommend insulating your shed so you can enjoy it all year round! You’re going to want to throw some drywall up, and paint those walls!

STEP 3: BRING YOUR VISION TO LIFE!

Choose a theme and begin decorating! What do you want this space to be for? Meditating? A place for Arts and Crafts? Painting? How about a little cafe, with cozy chairs and a coffee bar, or a space for that diva in you, where you can pour a margarita and read a book, or invite the girlfriends over !
